Autumn 2008 - Junior Net Sessions

Dear Parents & Junior Members

This autumn, Stalbridge Cricket Club has booked the use of Sturminster Newton

Leisure Centre on Friday evenings from 5.00pm to 7.00pm, with the aim of holding

junior coaching and practice sessions.

We have organised the planned sessions so that all the junior team age groups are

covered in rotation, giving the players chance to keep practicing their cricket

over the winter months, without overdoing it at a time when other sporting

committments probably take precedence.

We hope that our junior members will want to come along and make use of the

sessions, which will help skills development in advance of next summer, and will be

of particular use to any members who have been invited to attend North Dorset

District Squad trials over the coming weeks.

All sessions will be 5.00pm to 7.00 pm, and will cost £3.00 per person, payable on

the evening to the coach in attendance. The sessions will be as follows:

Friday October 17th - UNDER 9 & UNDER 11 (years 4, 5 & 6 only please)

Friday October 24th - UNDER 13 (years 7 & 8)

Friday October 31st - UNDER 15 (years 9 & 10)

Friday November 7th - UNDER 9 & UNDER 11 (years 4, 5 & 6 only please)

Friday November 14th - UNDER 13 (years 7 & 8)

Friday November 21st - UNDER 15 (years 9 & 10)

Friday November 28th - UNDER 9 & UNDER 11 (years 4, 5 & 6 only please)

Friday December 5th - UNDER 13 (years 7 & 8)

Friday December 12th - UNDER 15 (years 9 & 10)

If the sessions are a success and well attended, the Club has the option of

extending the booking beyond Christmas, in which case we will update everybody

closer to the time.

We hope that the Club's junior members are able to attend the sessions. Please
