Stalbridge Sunday XI make 283-6 at Lytchett Matravers. Rob Burfitt making his maiden ton with 109. Skipper Chris Hedges made 52. In reply, the home side were restricted to 166. Nick Payne (6-63) and Wayne Robertson (3-61) proving too good for the opposition.
Stalbridge 1st XI
suffer a last over 2 wicket loss at Parley. Batting first, Stalbridge made 212, with Rob Burfitt (48) and Stu Sweatman (35) in fine form. In reply, despite an excellent team bowling performance, which included Andy Dike taking 3-29, Parley got over the line with just 1 ball remaining.
Stalbridge 2nd XI got back to winning ways with a 13 run win over Puddletown. Alex Sullivan (49*) Jon Forshaw (46) and John Sullivan (45*) helped get the home side to 217-5. In reply, Puddletown chased well but fell 13 runs short as John Sullivan (3-51) and Rhys Horsman (3-58) restricted the visitors.
