Match report Our roaring Lions came through their toughest match so far, with a fine win against a good Marnhull team - the only team who'd managed to beat our Tigers so far!

Batting first Marnhull made 228-6 against our tightest bowling and fielding display so far. We only bowled 17 wides or no-balls, which is brilliant at this age. Dom, Nelson, Oscar M and Archie all took a wicket each, while Dom, Archie, Fin and Oscar W all took catches.

In reply, runs were never easy to come by as Marnhull too bowled and fielded well. After Dom and Oscar M got us off to a good start, our middle pairs kept the ship steady. This left Nelson and Charlie to see us home, with Charlie in particular playing a very intelligent last over in which he got the team ahead and then made sure he didn't lose his wicket.

Well done boys, a great effort - they really are developing into a good team.
