Match report Stalbridge won the toss and elected to bowl. The Swanage opening pair saw off the new ball partnership of Stu (0-27) and Forsh (1-40) putting on 57 for the first wicket. Dikey (4-23) come in to the attack in the 14th over and struck with his 5th ball having their top scoring batsman out LBW for 43. Dikey got another wicket in his second over and Leggy (4-24) picked up his first of the afternoon in his second. Dikey & Leggy bowled straight through for 20 overs with the scorecard going from 57-0 to 106-8. Forsh come back on up the hill to have their number 8 caught by Leggy at point and Si (1-2) picked up the final wicket with a sharp catch by Jon after a 2 week absence. The Swanage innings ended on 117. Stalbridge had to bat for half an hour before the tea interval & reached 20-0. Stu (58) and Jimmer (28) put on 92 for the first wicket, Forsh (5*) and George (16* off 8 balls) guided Stalbridge to their target in the 27th over. 20 points and a good home win, next week the 1s are away at Poole, start time as per usual if anyone was unsure, 1pm.
