Match report A very interesting game of cricket, which i'm sure the hosts thought was never in doubt although Stalbridge had a really good go and came incredibly close!
Kilmington won the toss and elected to bat. The score board rolled along steadily, including a few too many wides and one of their batsmen retiring, but the wickets fell equally steadily. Ollie (1-15), Ben (1-6) and Marcus (3-13) bowled very well but Sam Y (2-1) from 3 overs the outstanding bowling display.
In reply, Stalbridge got off to a good start and just kept chipping away at the total. But for 3 silly run outs we might have got even closer. Todd (20) hit some runs but again it was Sam Y who stepped up to score a very good 26, only being run out near the end when trying to chase down the win.
