Match report It wasn't going well - the door had blown off the new score hut, Charlie had pulled a muscle in his back at Costa Coffee, and we were 10-2 against Shillingstone. However, Sweaty Senior (34) and Herb (24) steadied the ship with a stand of 58, and Leggy weighed in with 22 (including a 5), before our traditional middle order collapse found us at 118-8. We were rescued by a 9th wicket stand of 48 between Alex (12) and Howie, who struck several lusty blows in an entertaining 37, and we were finally all out for 166 (R Brown 0 not out). Our young pace then reduced Shillingstone to 33-5, with Jasper taking 3-9 and Lewis 2-24. They briefly rallied, but were finished off for 94 by Alex with 3-24. This weeks Man of the Match, as nominated by Rich Brown, was Alex Moore.
