Hi all,
We are hoping to enter two teams of 6 members in the Blackmore Vale Lions Club sponsored swim on Saturday 1st April and are therefore looking for swimmers willing to help raise money for SCC and for the Lions charity fund supporting the Amelia Grace Rainbow Fund for seriously sick children and Riding for the Disabled.
The swim takes place from 10.00am - 11.00am on Saturday 1st April at Clayesmore Sports Centre and involves a team of six swimmers taking turns to swim lengths for the hour, so its not too demanding for confident swimmers. We already have a couple of under-11s taking part and their parents, so if you think you could join in please let us know.
Teams raise sponsorship in the traditional method, with 50% of money raised going to our own cause (Stalbridge CC) and 50% going to the worthy charities above.
