At the moment, none of our senior teams have anybody designated to prepare teas, and though players can sometimes cover the role this is not always possible when the team is in the field for the 1st innings.
Sandwiches will be prepared in advance by Dike & Son, and cakes etc., will also be provided (so no 'making' 'baking' is required), but it would be really great if anybody was willing to just set up the teas at games (lay the table, serve cups of teas and wash up).
The Club can offer £15 per game to any willing volunteer who is willing to do the job regularly for one of the teams - good pocket money for probably not much more than an hour's work. Alternatively any player who provides a spouse/partner/parent/sibling/relative/friend/unsuspecting victim to cover the role in any given game will be excused their match fee!
