Match report The Pirates played a well drilled Shaftesbury Cougars team, and after a reasonable bowling effort and some abysmal fielding they faced a mountain of a task in needing 322 to win! However, the batting display was very encouraging with everybody switched on to running between the wickets, and the team ended up on a very respectable 265-4. Sam Pipe top scored with 15 and James Stockley also hit 15 but was out once. For his all-round performance with bat and ball, and trying to set an example in the field, Star-of-the-Week was Sam Pipe.
