Match report After winning the toss, Matt elected to bat. After a steady 12 overs, 62 runs added, our final pair came in and put on another 59 runs in the final 4 overs, thanks mainly to Luke McLaughlin (47), Stalbridge finished on 321-3.
Our bowling was once again top quality, a few too many wides but nothing disastrous, Mere were restricted to 225-4 from their 16 overs. All bowlers contributed well but notably Matt Longley (2-8), Sam Pipe (1-3), Kit Garnon (0-0) as well as debutant ( and U9) Billy Daniels (1-13).
The Man of the Match award went to Billy Daniels for a brilliant display with bat and ball, on debut. Well done boys!
