Match report Another fine result saw the Outlaws ease past Shaftesbury Panthers at the Park. Stand in captain William Coleman won the toss and elected to bat. The Outlaws posted another massive total of 293 for 3, with useful contributions from William Coleman (16), Will Collins (12) and the ever impressive Luke McLaughlin (31) including 2 sixes, one of which nearly went through Colin Moore's car window!!
In reply, Shaftesbury Panthers, who are all U10's and were held back to 197 for 9 with another brilliant display of bowling by the Outlaws. Josh Nancarrow's wicketkeeping is improving with every game, with only 1 bye conceded and all bowlers were very tidy, notably Sam Pipe (1-4), Luke McLaughlin (1-7) and Will Collins (3-7). But these were cast into the shadows by another impressive display by a left armer, William Coleman (4-3), who with the sixth of ball of his first over completed his first ever hat-trick!! Not content with this, William's first ball of his second over also saw him bowl his victim, meaning he took 4 wickets from 4 consecutive deliveries, an achievement not seen very often!!!
It made the decision for man of the match very easy, well done William!!
