Match report A very 'professional' win by the Pirates was set up by a really good all-round bowling and fielding performance, which saw Milton Abbas lose 11 wickets in reaching a total of 190 runs. The wickets were well spread around, with Will Guppy taking 3, Billy Daniels 2, Joe Gartell 2, Matt Williams 2 and 1-a-piece for Max Townsend and Ben Pattle. Max Townsend also took two very good catches.

In reply, the team batted sensibly, aware that they only needed to score at a steady pace and not lose silly wickets to win. Again, everybody contributed, with good running between the wickets and some fine shots when the chances were there. Only two wickets fell as the team finished on 289-2 for a comfortable victory. Man-of-the-match was Max Townsend for an excellent all-round performance (including some really good bowling, especially when he remembered to keep his action upright!!). Well done to all the team!
