Match report A very comfortable win for the Pirates, set up by a fine bowling display that saw the team take 11 Shaftesbury wickets, 9 of which were clean bowled. The lads also bowled only 6 wide balls in the innings, which was a fantastic effort. The wickets were well shared around, though special mentions must go to Matt Williams (4 for 5), Billy Daniels (3 for 5) and Ben Pattle (2 for 2). Shaftesbury finished on 175-11.

In reply, the team didn't need to go mad with the bat, they just needed to avoid too many careless wickets, and this they did, losing 3 wickets in putting up a winning total of 277. As with the wickets, the runs were also shared around, top scorers being Max Townsend and Will Guppy.
