Match report A really intriguing game that had plenty of twists and was finally finished, with 2 balls to spare, with a Merebury victory!
Stalbridge batted first and with some steady scoring reached 94-5. Sam P (18) top scored with James (12) and Todd (14) adding some valuable runs. The innings ended with a bizarre run out on the final ball. Cam hit the ball in the air straight back at the bowler, who managed to let the ball through his hands onto his head and then on to the stumps. Very funny for the spectators!!
In reply, Merebury managed to get to the 95 they needed with 2 balls to spare and for the loss of 3 wickets. Marcus (1-4) and Matt (1-12) the wicket takers with good help from all the other bowlers.
