Match report A glorious evening saw the Reds beat an improving Merebury side.
Batting first, Stalbridge managed to post a very good total of 118-7. There was some interesting shot selection but pleasingly the boys put into practice some of the things we have been working on at nets. Todd (14) top scored and a good stubborn 11 not out from Ollie and 6 not out from Tommy kept the scoreboard ticking over.
In reply, Merebury got to 86-3, with a big help from the highest score of the night, extras. Tommy (1-16), James (1-6), Will (1-16) and a run out the wicket takers.
Man of the match goes to Ollie for a useful 11 not out and good tidy seam bowling.
