Match report A blustery but sunny evening saw the Reds stroll to victory!
Batting first, the Reds set off at a steady pace losing 2 early wickets on a deceptive wicket. Then up stepped captain Ben (33 n.o) to give the innings some impetus, supported by Ollie (27 n.o) and this help them to post a dominant total of 120-4 off 16 overs.
In reply, the Reds bowled very tightly to begin with, only conceding 10 runs of the first 6 overs. Although the bowling did get a bit more liberal the run chase never got close and Marnhull finished on 63-6 off their 16 overs. All players bowled 2 overs each and Tommy kept wicket very well, stopping the ball with most parts of his body!! Seth (1-10), Cam (1-15), Matt (1-6), William (1-1) and a very impressive (2-0) from James the wicket-takers.
Man of the Match was Ben whose 33 not out set up the victory.
