Match report The regional final was a great game but unfortunately, mainly due to a hat-trick from South Wilts' best bowler, Stalbridge came up just short of the target.
Batting first, South Wilts got off to a good start and they carried it through to a strong looking 115-3 from 20 overs. A run out, Will C (1-13) and Seb (1-30) with the wickets.
In reply, Stalbridge also got off to a good start but after Joe A (18) was run out their opener had a unstoppable five minutes that saw him complete his hat-trick and decimate our top order!! Seb (17) steadied the ship a little and some late big hitting, including 22 from Lewis, but it was all in vain as the Blues ended on 94ao in the final over.
A really great effort by all involved and the Blues are still County Champs, of which they should be very proud!!
