Match report on a lovely evening at the Park, the U13's opened their season with a potentially tricky cup game against Blandford. After winning the toss, William chose to field and all the boys bowled brilliantly in restricting Blandford to 62-4 from their 16 overs. There were 2 run outs, with Matt. C and Joe picking up the other 2 wickets. Most pleasing was we only bowled 4 wides which was the difference between the sides.
In reply, Joe (15 n.o) and Matt W (14) scored steady and were never really under any pressure as we won with 13 balls to spare.
