Match report The first nice evening for a while and we decided to play 20 overs each, although it got a little cold towards the end!
William lost the toss and we were, not surprisingly, put into bat.
William (30 n.o) and Matt W (14) batted with composure and patience and with big help from Mr Wide, Stalbridge finished on 108-1.
In reply, Shaftesbury were always looking to hurry the score along. Our bowling was not as tight as normal (although it was very cold), but we managed to restrict them to 94-7. Matty P (1-9) and Harrison (1-9) both getting their first wickets at U13, with James (1-13) and William (1-12) taking one each, including a great stumping from Josh and 3 run outs it ended in a great win for Stalbridge.
