Match report Another defeat for the 2's but a good performance to take Portland all the way. Batting first after another lost toss! The Bridge got off to a solid start with Tom 'Goose' Hatcher (26) and Matt Chant (59) putting on 63 for the first wicket, however wickets fell rather to regularly to post a decent score with only Leggy and Kev (15 each) making any notable contributions as we were dismissed for 142, .probably 30 below par. In reply Portland were kept in check by Henner's and Alex's opening spell, Alex taking two good wickets. Leggy again impressed with his offies taking 2-22 from 9 and Matt Chant battled through 9 overs on the bounce taking 2-16. Chris Meikle was the pick taking 1-9 from 7.5 overs with excellent line and length but despite this and some great commitment in the field Portland crept over the line in the last over for the loss of 8 wickets
