Match report A 9 run loss for the boys in a very good match. An almost entire U/16 bowling attack dismissed Blandford for 184 with good figures from all, Henners 2-37, Fordy 1-16, Alex 1-17, Jamie 1-42 and the impressive Wizzer taking 3-26 bowling his offies at the death. Tom Perkins bowled beautifully without any luck. Excellent work in the field too with Perkins jnr with the most soiled whites as always! In reply Tom (35) got us off to a good start but it was a 64 run partnership between Degs (57 and a fat lip) and Kev (26 and a bruised wrist) on a now fruity pitch that took us to the brink before Degs was run out. Fordy (13) kept it going and Henners (15) smashed 3 fours in quick succession and we needed 16 from the last over. It wasn't to be and we finished on 175-8.
