Match report The last game of a long tough season for the 2's ended with a 99 run defeat at Portland. They racked up 272-2, Tom Perkins picked up the 2 wickets. We were never really in it and reached a respectable 173 all out with Tom (24), Matt (22), Herb (19) and Matt Coleman (20) all getting starts.
I think every team who we played against this year complimented us on having a great bunch of lads who played the game in the right spirit at all times and were indeed a credit to Stalbridge C.C. Having captained them I can only agree, thanks boys, it's been a privilege to have coached and also over the last couple of seasons had the chance to play along side you. The future of the club looks secure and 4 of these U/15's have already made their Premier League debuts. Exciting times ahead!
