Match report After the previous week's disappointments this first win was well deserved. Stalbridge batted first and the innings was anchored by a well constructed 54 from Marcus (mini Monty) Robertson, some support from the middle order left wickets in hand for the final 10 over onslaught, duly supplied by "the horse" who bludgeoned 4 big sixes and 6 fours on his way to a rapid, career best 86. RB provided 3 not out at the end to leave Stalbridge 208 for 8, an above par score on a wearing track. After tea early breakthroughs were made by Stalbridge opening bowlers Tom (TC) Cairns 5-2-13-2 and Jules Guthrie 8-1-32-2, which left Bradford struggling. With the threat of thunder storms in the distance more wickets fell to first change bowlers Juddy 5-0-19-1 and Max 5-0-14-2. With some decent catching Bradford were dismissed for 96 and the innings was wrapped up before the rain became an issue.
