Match report Stalbridge U/15's completed a very successful season completing the North Dorset league and cup double beating Shaftesbury. Batting first the boys posted a competitive total of 82 with Leggy (29) and Perky (22) being the only significant contributors. Shaftesbury got off to a good start against the seam but quick thinking by captain Legg (4-8) in bringing on himself and fellow tweaker Will Coleman (3-1) changed the game immediately. 29-0 became 33-9 and after some late resistance Cam knocked over the last man to complete the victory. Well done to all boys who played throughout the season, unbeaten in the district and only losing one game in the county final, a credit to the club's thriving youth section. Many thanks to all parents for their continued support and help, always appreciated.
