Match report Always good to start with a win, but this was looking unlikely at 44-5 after 18 overs. However a stand of 73 between Eddie (59) and Kev (65no) steadied the ship, then a further stand of 51 for the 8th wicket between Kev and The Chairman (23) enabled us to reach a respectable 196-8. Ferndown were well placed at 102-2, despite a tight opening spell from Max (2-21), but Fred, on his 2nd team comeback, ripped out the middle order with a devastating spell of 9-?-14-4. Barnesy finished things off with 2-32, as the visitors reached 172 all out. Well done lads. (All figures subject to verification with the away scorebook, as ours is a bit vague!!!)
