Match report On one of the hottest days of the season, Sherborne won the toss and unsurprisingly chose to bat. An excellent opening partnership saw them put on 160 for the first wicket with no real chances given, although one of the openers rode his luck a fair amount. Seb made the breakthrough, thanks to a great catch in the deep from Jamie Anderson-Deas, who was committed in the field throughout. Bradders bowled well again in testing conditions, with the batsmen becoming increasingly more aggressive as they looked to accelerate with wickets in hand. He claimed the second and third wickets with a bowled and a good catch from Col to get rid of centurion Josh Lawrence. Si claimed the only other wicket to fall, a skier which was well caught by Steve. Sherborne finished on 264-4, a decent total but one which could've been far greater bearing in mind they only lost 4 wickets.

Seb and Col eased to 32 in reply, before Col was given out to a dodgy LBW decision, as confirmed by most of Sherborne's team. Seb was then clean bowled for 25 and Fordy caught not long after. Julius and Jimmer put on 26 for the fourth wicket before Si joined Jimmer and they took the score to 125 in the 36th over, mainly looking to occupy the crease and gain as many batting points as possible. Steve made 14 and H smashed a quick 23*, breaking his bat in the process! We finished on 215-8, a very credible effort.
