Match report Stalbridge won the toss & Si elected to bat. Play started but each innings was redcued to 45 overs due to rain. Si took on the opening role alongside Seb and between them put on a season high opening partership of 78, Seb falling in the 19th over for 39 and finishing the season as leading run scorer with 392 runs. Si made 21 falling in the 21st over putting together a well constructed pateint partnership with Seb. H made 27 from number 3 putting on 61 with Jimmer who scored a well made 39 backing up his 2018 season of 500+ runs with a total of 363 in 2019. Jules made a good 20 & Steve scored 16. Bradders made a run a ball 8 at the back end of the innings with Robbie ending 0* off 0 balls. Stalbridge ended on 202 & the score was increased under DLS to 224. In reply the Broadstone opening pair put on 20 before H (7-2-27-1) took a simple caught and bowled chance. The 3rd wicket pair for Broadstone put on a match winning 81 with their number 4 batsman finsihing on 78*. Forsh (9-4-19-1), Seb (5-0-43-1) chipped in with a wicket each and Robbie (4-0-37-1) picked up his first 1st team wicket. Another decent effort with bat and ball but sadly another defeat. The final league standings see Stalbridge finish bottom of the league. There were good performances throughout the year and contributions in the bowling from Stu who finished with 22 wickets & Si with 19. Leading run scorers were Seb with 392, Jimmer with 362 & George with 241.
