Match report In his first game as captain Rob won the toss and decided to bat due to the fact that we only had 10 players. Stalbridge started well, with Rob and Will & Rob and Doug forming some good partnerships in the first 10 overs to leave us well placed on 52-1 after the first 10 overs, with Rob leading the way with a well made 28. But then a batting collapse that any side would be proud of occurred as Stalbridge fell to 65 all out, losing the last 8 wickets for 13 runs.
With such a small total on the board early wickets were needed, but unfortunately this didn't happen, and while Cam bowled well in his 3 overs, Sherborne reached their target in the 11th over, without losing a wicket. Also a thank you to the two young Sherborne lads that kindly offered to field for us after Doug fell ill, meaning we would have had 9 players otherwise!

A bad day at the office for the 2s but we go into next week against Kingston Lacy, looking for that illusive first win of the season...
