Match report Having won the toss and elected to bat, things got off to a reasonable start as C. Mckinnon (25) and the skip (26) ground down the opposition and scored quite freely to get the fifty up within the first 15-overs. After the partnership was broken, despite some good hitting from the Chairman (17), wickets fell very regularly leaving the Bridge on 94a.o. Credit must go to the Weymouth attack for bowling very tight lines.

With a small total to defend, it was always going to be tough for Stalbridge to win, but they gave it a mighty effort. The opening bowlers ripped through Weymouth's top order, reducing them to 43/4. However, despite continued pressure from the change bowlers, Weymouth were able to build small partnerships and eek their way towards the total.

An excellent debut from T. Donnelly who got 1/7 from his 2.4 overs.
