Stu (6-2-16-2) got the breakthrough in the 3rd over & wickets fell quickly early on with Steve (8-4-19-2) bowling down the hill picking up both of his wickets in his first spell, the score after 12 overs was 21-4. The 5th wicket partnership for Beaminster put on 87 before Jonny took a stumping off the bowling of Wiz (4-0-27-1). The Beaminster number 5 batsman hit 71 before another stumping by Jonny off the bowling of H (2-0-6-1), Si in his first league game of the season after a finger injury picked up a wicket in the final over with H taking a catch at long on and finished with figures of 6-0-35-1. Beaminster batted their 40 overs making a score of 152-7.

Stu hit two 4s being bowled in the 5th over for 11, Joshy fell 1st ball and the Stalbridge score was 26-2. Stalbridge lost no further wickets with Bushy making 63* off 78 with seven 4s & two 6s & Jimmer hitting 59* off 58 balls with two 4s and 3 maximums. The 127 partnership between Bushy & Jimmer saw Stalbridge to their 3rd victory of the shortened season & sets up a winner takes spot fixture away at Marnhull next Saturday, 1:30pm start.
