Stalbridge Cricket Club Won by 48 runs CHAMPIONS!!!!

Match report CHAMPIONS! Well done to the Lions, and the whole U9 squad, as we used a lot of players in the team across the games.

With 7 wins and 1 loss the Lions are deserved winners of the NDCA U9 League, and this comfortable victory against Blandford was a fitting end to the league season.

Every player contributed to the victory, with the runs nicely spread around and our tidiest bowling display of the season so far. Ed Pattle taking 3 for 5 and Nelson striking 22 runs were the stand-out performances. Nonetheless, it really was a genuine team effort with good scores also from Oscar M, Fin and Myles, while Sam, Dom and Oscar W all bowled excellently, going for only 12 runs in total in the 6 overs they bowled between them!

Very satisfying, especially for the nervous parents and coaches on the boundary (and in Cardiff!).
