Match report Stalbridge won the toss & elected to field. With a few changes to the team due to weddings & holidays we welcomed Eddie and Alex in for their first team debuts - well done lads! Stalbridge made a breakthrough in the 10th over with Forsh taking his 27th wicket of the season trapping their opener LBW, his 28th was soon to follow when Leggy took a catch at mid off on the 3rd or 4th attempt! Swanage made a decent total of 196, their 4th wicket pair putting on 65 and the scorecard being boosted by 37 wides. Contributions in the bowling come from H (8-0-42-3), Forsh (7-4-5-2) & Lewis (9-2-33-2). In reply chasing a reduced 169 in 36 overs to win, Josh playing his first game for a couple months scored a well made 24, putting on 26 with Robbie (16) for an opening stand of 26. The major contribution in the batting came from Lewis who fell just short of a deserved 50 making 49 which included three 4s and one 6. Next week the 1s are away at Shroton, 1pm start time.
