Match report A fitting end to the season for Stalbridge Outlaws as Blandford were brushed aside in the title decider. The Outlaws lost the toss and were inserted, and showed exactly why they have remained unbeaten throughout the season as 4 excellent partnerships were forged. Fergus and Gilbert started the onslaught scoring 34, with Ferg hitting 22 not out. Oscar W (19) and Barney put on 39 with some intelligent running and communication. Oscar M and Dom batted very sensibly and put on 23 without loss, setting the game up for Nelson and Max who added 56 for the last pair, Max hitting his first ever 4s and Nelson top scoring with 31 not out.
Blandford were never really at the races as the Outlaws bowled accurately, and fielded well. Wickets for Ferg, Max, Oscar M, Barney, and a great run out from Ferg, and tidy keeping from Oscar W, kept the Blandford total to 237-6. A great season for the Outlaws, and not forgetting great contributions from Archie, Fin, Edward, Sam, Harry, Alfie, Charlie, Louis and Josh throughout the season.
