Match report Bere Regis won the toss and elected to field. Stu (22) & Jimmer (8) had an opening partnership of 39 before Stu was bowled and Jimmer run out soon after. Wickets fell in the middle / lower order and Stalbridge found themselves 79-7, Si (30) and H (19) steadied the innings with a partnership of 44 over 13 overs and the innings ended with Stalbridge posting 130. Stu (1-13) and Steve (1-19) kept it tight early on and Bere Regis were 9-2 after 6 overs, there 4th wicket pair put on 32 before Leggy (4-14) had their opener caught for 18. H (4-14) picked up some quick wickets and Bere Regis fell short of their target being bowled out for 84. Stalbridge fielded brilliantly throughout, great work by George to take a catch in the deep, sharp glovework by Jon to take a stumping off Leggy and a catch off H stood up to the stumps setting the standard. Next week the 1s are away at Martinstown, 1pm start time.
