Match report Wimborne won the toss and elected to bat. The Wimborne opening pair put on 105 before Stalbridge got their first wicket in the 20th over when one of their openers chipped a catch to Bradders off the bowling of H (5-1-29-1). The other Wimborne opener fell in the next over to a catch at extra cover by Fordy off a leading edge from the bowling of Leggy (10-0-60-2). Stalbridge picked up 3 further wickets before second drinks with Dikey (10-0-48-2) taking a caught & bowled, running out the non striker with a deflection off a drive hit back at him and a well taken catch in the deep by Joshy. Bradders picked up a couple wickets in the last 17 overs of the Wimborne innings finishing with good figures of (9-0-46-2) & Stu finishing with figures of (10-0-33-1) in a economical spell. The Stalbridge reply didn't start well with Stu out LBW first ball, Seb was also adjudged LBW and fell in the 3rd over. Wickets in the top order fell at regualr intervals and Stalbridge were 26-6. Bradders made 14 from number 7 and Dikey 10 from number 8 whilst Jon (16) and H (16*) delayed the Wiimborne victory by putting on 31 for the final wicket. In defeat Stalbridge take 4 points from the game and next week travel to Swanage, 1pm start time.
