Match report Stalbridgde won the toss and elected to field. The Poole opening pair put on 125 for the opening partnership in 25 overs. The first over after drinks H (10-0-46-2) got the breakthrough, a well taken catch by Jimmer at gully. Stalbridge struck again in the 28th over after great work by Stu with a direct hit removing the other Poole opener who batted well for 56. Dikey (10-1-59-3) took out the Poole numbers 3 & 4 both clean bowled and also had their number 6 LBW, Poole went from 125-0 to 191-5. Stu had a another direct hit run out and H got an LBW in the last over. Poole finished their innings on 252-7. Stalbridge lost Jimmer (0) in the first over, Stu made a good return to form with 52 including five 4s before he was out in the 27th over. Other contibutions in the batting come from Geroge (17) and Joe who made 16 and spent almost an hour at the crease in the 64 balls he faced. Stalbridge fell short in the chase and were all out for 137, 5 points taken from the game & with Swanage losing at Sherborne means Premier League Cricket next year. Next week the 1s are away to Sherborne, 1pm start time.
