Match report Unfortunately a loss for our boys.
We won the toss and decided to bowl. The fielding and bowling was very good and tight and everyone did their bit. Gilbert was asked to keep wicket for the last 8 overs which he did willingly, and considering he's not kept wicket before did a great job for the team. Blandford batted well despite the good bowling and fielding to post 276 for 4.
We can into bat and everyone tried really hard to be sensible and not throw wickets away. The Blandford fielding was good, but their bowling attack was the difference between the two teams and despite a good effort from our team we were always behind the run rate. Our final pair had a lot of runs to get and had to take a few risks to try and put us in with a chance of winning. Unfortunately the gamble didn't pay off and we lost a few wickets and ended on 243 for 7.
