Match report A very decent first performance from the team, against a very strong Kilmington team. We fielded only three actual under-13s, with the rest of the side either u12, plus two u11s! Doug was the key to our innings, with a magnificent 33 not out, but this was only possible with some dogged support from others in the line-up. We made 91-5 in our 16 overs. When Kilmington batted, all our bowlers bowled really well, with far fewer wides than Kilmington bowled - Millie was probably the pick of them, with two excellent overs of accurate out-swing bowling. The fielding was also excellent, with a great run-out from Edward, and for a while we were building the pressure on Kilmington as the required rate started to climb. However, KSCC brought in their big hitter to finish things off at the end of the 13th over for 3 wickets down. Well played to the WHOLE team who played with an excellent team spirit!
