Match report Stalbridge lost the toss and were put into bat. With no Stu this week everyone went up a place in the order so Seb and Fordy opened up. Stalbridge started well reaching 38 after 6 overs before Fordy fell in the 7th making 18 off 21 with one 4 & two 6s. Seb fell for 36 hitting six 4s in his 47 ball innings putting on 28 with George who top scored for Stalbridge making 29 off 55 with five 4s. Jimmer fell for 10 off 20 and Colin 7 off 13 both finding the boundary on 1 occasion. Si (2), Andy (1) & Matty (0) all fell quickly which brought Cameron to the crease at number 9 on his 1s debut. Cameron scored 4 off 20 with one boundary adding 21 with Jonny who ended on 13* off 29, H making 16 off 15 with two 4s and one 6 to take Stalbridge’s score to 155 all out off 39 overs. In reply Si (9.4-0-51-1) struck in the 5th over after an excellent catch at mid on by Andy running back. Cameron (4-0-25-1) picked up his first 1st team wicket with just his 3rd ball with a catch behind to Jonny. H (10-0-45-1) picked up the only other wicket to fall. Christchurch reached their target in the 27th over.
